Character: Jamie Severin -- Absent Minded
Prop:  Gum Wrapper
Dialogue: "Its So Simple A Monkey Could Do It With Its Eyes Closed."

HERE'S THE CHALLENGE:

Production teams will work for 72 hours to write, shoot, edit and deliver a 4-7 minute short film.  Each team will be given a genre that thier film must fit into, as well as a character, prop and line of dialogue that must be in the film (these will be the same for all teams).

At least one member of each registered team MUST attend the Kick-off event at the Belmont Media Center (BMC) on Thursday September 22 to draw genres and to receive the required elements of character, prop and line of dialogue.  Each team also turns in their signed “Team Leader Agreement form.” at this time.

Teams then have 72 hours (until 7:30pm on Sunday, September 25th) to write, shoot, edit and deliver back to BMC a 4-7 minute fictional narrative film in the genre that they drew at the kick-off and including all the required elements

All films will be screened on Saturday October 1st at the Belmont Studio Cinema.  Only films that arrive “on-time” and including all required elements will be eligible for judging.  Viewer’s choice ballots will be distributed to all who attend the screening to vote for their favorite.  Viewer’s choice winners will also be recognized.  All films will be aired on BMC channels and on the web.  More details about the screening will be coming soon so check back here and on the Facebook page often.
