BMC Internship Opportunities

In recent weeks, we have fined tuned a several internship opportunities perfect for anyone looking to gain experience in a working television studio.  These positions are open to anyone in high school or higher who has a GPA higher than 3.0. 

More detailed descriptions and how to apply can be read here, but I'd like to highlight the various positions we currently have open. 

News & Current Events Intern -

The News & Current Events intern will act as line producer, coordinating segments provided by Citizen-Herald staff and other community volunteers; and will prepare the finished program for cablecast. The intern will also have the opportunity to shoot, edit and report on-camera. More info...

Public Safety Intern -

The Public Safety Intern will help BMC in producing a short, weekly/semi-weekly Public Safety and Police Bulletin show, featuring members of the Belmont Police, Fire and Emergency Management Departments. The program will highlight public safety updates, local news; safety and crime prevention tips.  More info...

Gallery & Events Intern -

The Gallery & Events Coordinator internship will be a hands-on, high responsibility opportunity for anyone interested in curating art exhibits, gallery/event organizing, and the business side of art. The hours required for this position will be minimal and vary week to week, due to the cyclical nature of the shows. More info...

Studio & Field Intern -

The Studio and Field Internship will provide an intern hands-on training in TV studio and field production, and give the intern a high level of responsibility within BMC. Each day will vary depending on the studio schedule and the needs of the members and staff. More info...
