It’s that time of year where BMC makes preparations for this year’s annual Gifts of Hope Telethon. This is a joint effort with the Belmont Citizen-Herald to raise money and food donations to benefit the Belmont Food Pantry. This year’s telethon will be held on Saturday, December 7th from 12 – 5 PM at the Belmont Media Center. It will air live on three channels 8, 9, 96 (Comcast) and 28, 29, 30 (Verizon), and on the web. We are looking volunteer show hosts, entertainers and crew.
Congratulations to the Belmont Marauders Varsity Soccer Boys for a great season and for the action-packed post-season. Their tournament quarter-final loss (1-0) was a hard-fought defensive game and if not for the Scarlet Knights' early goal during the opening minutes of the first half, the Marauders may have come out on top.
