Laila, a young unemployed Moroccan IT professional, leaves her country to do seasonal work in Belgium. The young woman ends up on André’s small family farm, where he grows apples and pears. Laila rapidly becomes disenchanted as she discovers the deeply unfair system that regulates the contracts of seasonal workers. Gradually, her feeling of revolt spreads to those around her and disrupts life on André’s farm.

Mubiru Rigan, dreams of being the next Fernando Torres and scoring the goal that brings Uganda their first African Cup. Like hundreds of millions of kids who play football every day, football grants are the only way to access education or the ticket to a better future. In some cases, it is their only way to survive. The film is a powerful and moving story about the audacity to dream despite the insurmountable obstacles that hinder our path to progress.
