Roger FUSSA

Member of the Board

Roger serves as a Town Meeting member for Precinct 8 and on New Roads Catholic Collaborative's finance council. Previously, he was a member of Belmont's Diversity Task Force and Vision 21 Implementation Committee. Roger also served as the Chenery Middle School PTO's fundraising chair, was a board member for Winn Brook Child Care, and served on the BPS screening committee for a permanent assistant superintendent.  In other community service, he sits on the Planned Giving Group of New England's board and was previously on the Brattle Film Foundation's board (brattlefilm.org).  

Roger, his wife, two children, and two dogs live in the Winn Brook neighborhood, and his children attend Belmont High School. Professionally, Roger has spent most of his career at educational institutions, beginning with Georgetown University. He now works as a planned giving officer at Harvard University.

Roger earned a bachelor's in history from the University of Virginia, a master's in liberal studies from Georgetown University, and a graduate certificate in publications and communications from Harvard University. He holds the professional certification of Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and is earning certification to become a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®).
