Scott SASSONE

Member of the Board

Scott has been working in television production since 1995. He is a western NY native and had been living in Belmont for the past 15 years.

He began his career as a System Integration Specialist, designing small production facilities in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. After a couple of years he traded in warm south Florida breezes for frigid Maine winters.

Scott worked in local TV and radio in Maine for a decade. He worked as a reporter, videographer, radio host and sports play-by-play announcer. In 2009, Scott moved to Massachusetts to work as a videographer for NBC Sports Boston. At NBC, Scott covered the Bruins, Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots, although he remains a lifelong Buffalo sports fan. In 2015, Scott took over the video production team at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where he runs both features production and live event coverage.

Scott and his wife Kara, met while working on-air together and sharing a news desk. They have a set of twins who attend Belmont Middle School.
