Hyper-local TV news now on BMC

Though BMC and BMC members produce special event news coverage, especially campaign & election coverage, I am gratified to see that Joanna Tzouvelis, editor of the Belmont Citizen-Herald, on the web @ wickedlocal.com/belmont took up my offer to help develop a regular local news program, Citizen-Herald Reports.

Produced in our storefront set, Studio B, Joanna interviews local newsmakers and highlights developments and events that concern Belmont.

The first show got off to a rough start, but after a bit of editing, turned out well. Joanna interviewed the one and only Lydia Ogilby. Future editions will feature historian and architect Michael Smith, and Ellen Schrieber, from Friends of Joey's Park.

And we are looking for folks to be a part of an editorial segment we're calling: IMHO, where YOU can take a turn in front of the camera to voice your opinion on any topic or raise public awareness of an issue important to you.

If you'd like to contribute a 1 to 3 minute editorial for Citizen-Herald Reports, please email Joanna Tzouvelis HERE.
