New Camera

After 5 months of anticipation, the first of BMC's new field cameras have arrived.  Staff is currently getting familiar with the new camera and developing a training session for it.  While it is not quite ready for general use yet, you are welcome to come down to the studio to check it out here.

The camera is a Kodak Zi8 HD camera. It records to standard SD media cards in .mov format which is directly compatible with our editing systems. This camera features the ablity to plug in an external microphone to get good sound. Add one of our small mixers and you have yourself a compact recording rig.
