training

April's class roster has been uploaded to our website! To learn more and to register for any that interest you, visit belmontmedia.org/learn/classes.

We are so excited to be holding not 1, not 2 but 3 summer workshops for children grades 3 and up.  We know parents are always looking for educational and fun activities for their kids, and the following workshops will really achieve both ends.

Belmont Youth Video Challenge

We'll be teaching the students all about the elements that make a movie - by helping them make a movie of their own. There will be a strong emphasis on media literacy as well. How do we consume things like television, movies and news? What effect does media have on us?

We're bringing the popular Introduction to Adobe Premiere Pro class back this May. Alisa Carbone is a seasoned Premiere instructor and you will learn a lot from her.

Register here now!

Under Alisa's tutelage, you will learn everything to get started editing in Adobe Premiere Pro over the course of 3 weeks.

Please be advised that Jay Fedigan's On-Location: Field Production class that was to take place today and next week Tuesday has been cancelled.  We will be looking to reschedule in a few months.

Any questions can be addressed to Rachel: rachel@belmontmedia.org

Well, here in the still summer in bucolic Belmont, our Final Cut Express class is filled. Thank you Belmont.

And in the fall, new classes commence in the Control Room for Studio Production.
