Deniz Dutton joined BMC as a Studio and Field intern for the summer of 2017. Entering the 11th grade, she took full advantage of all that BMC had to offer in order to drastically improve her video production skills, and was a phenominal addition to the BMC team. Here is her take on her expeirence as a BMC intern:
Before starting my new position as the News and Current Events Intern at Belmont Media Center I wondered what my day to day schedule may look like. I also questioned how terrible my commute from Boston to Belmont would be.
We're so excited here at BMC to welcome Brittany Carragher into the fold. She began work as the News & Current Events Producing Intern yesterday (Mon, July 1, 2013) and will be working with us until December.
She comes to us from Northeastern University where she is studying journalism as a part of their cooperative education program. This means she's concentrating solely on her work here at BMC instead of taking classes.
In recent weeks, we have fined tuned a several internship opportunities perfect for anyone looking to gain experience in a working television studio. These positions are open to anyone in high school or higher who has a GPA higher than 3.0.
More detailed descriptions and how to apply can be read here, but I'd like to highlight the various positions we currently have open.
