Glenn Clancy, long-time Belmont Town Engineer and someone who wore many hats and served many people over his career passed away this morning. I met Glenn when I came to Belmont in 2006 and he was always available to talk and a friendly guy to talk with. He helped BMC get off the ground in Waverley Square with his quiet guidance and congenial nature. He was a Belmont official but always informal and direct - and showed me how to best serve residents by being decent, respectful, and welcoming.
RIP Glenn.
