All proceeds will support Senior Center programs/services.
Director Dana Bickelman is pleased to announce that the Belmont Council on Aging is teaming up with AARP to offer tax-preparation services for seniors, and invites residents to join the waitlist for appointments.
Residents can schedule appointments at the Beech Street Center, 266 Beech St., through April 12. Tax help is completely free to seniors, thanks to support from AARP. The AARP Tax Prep program is intended to help taxpayers with low and moderate incomes.
The Belmont Citizen-Herald is no longer reporting essential local news. A group of Belmont residents are working together to create a new hyper-local news outlet.
Belmont Porchfest is looking for volunteers to help cover the event. Belmont Porchfest is a community event with a wide variety of musical performances taking place on the porches of people's homes all throughout Belmont.
Volunteer camera operators are needed to capture the performances, crowd shots of people engaged in the music, musicians setting up equipment..etc. You can gather interviews with attendees.
