Friday, Dec. 12

3:16 p.m.: The operator of a blue Tesla sedan sped through a crosswalk by the Butler School at the intersection of Maple and Beech Streets. The officer on duty signaled for him to stop and asked him why he was driving so fast. He was then instructed to pull over and get out his license and registration. He then sped off and did not pull over. The officer followed him to the CVS parking lot on Trapelo Road. He was standing outside the driver’s side door, and it appeared he was moving things around in his vehicle. He was asked to put his hands in the air and ignored the officer’s commands. He continued moving his arms inside the vehicle. He was asked again to step away from the car and raise his hands above his head. He complied with the officer’s instructions and was placed in handcuffs. The officer smelled a strong odor of alcohol. He had an ankle bracelet on his left foot, which he said was for a previous OUI. A dark liquid in a San Pellegrino bottle was found inside the driver’s side pocket door. It smelled of whiskey. He was transported to the station. His license was suspended even though it was already revoked. He was issued a citation for operating under the influence, OUI liquor, fifth offence and failing to stop for police.

Saturday, Dec. 13

2:11 p.m.: Dispute between landlord and tenant. The tenant believes her landlord who lives in the upstairs apartment went into her apartment when she wasn’t home and raised the blinds in her bathroom. She also reported a male resident in the upstairs apartment brushed by her as he walked by. The male resident said he did not have any physical contact with the tenant, and the landlord would not enter the downstairs unit without asking. The tenant was advised to contact the police if she feels unsafe or has any other issues with her landlord.

7:24 p.m.: A Dunbarton Road resident reported a stolen package containing a firestick from Amazon valued at $20. It was delivered at 2:30 pm. When she went to retrieve it at 7 p.m. she noticed the package was cut open and the firestick was missing.

Sunday, Dec. 14

7:25 p.m.: Officers responded to multiple 911 calls about a woman yelling for help and several people arguing in the area of Loring Street. When officers arrived, they spoke to the reporting party who said he could hear a very loud argument between at least two males and a female, and he saw people running around the front of the house. An officer went to the house and was approached by a man who said he was a victim of road rage. A white pickup truck was tailgating him while he was driving home from work. When he stopped at the red light at the intersection of Beech Street and Trapelo Road, the white truck had to slam on its brakes to avoid hitting him, which enraged the driver. The truck followed him to his residence. When he arrived, the driver got out of the truck and began to scream and yell at him. They continued to argue and at one point they both grabbed a hold of each other’s jackets. He is concerned the male will come back. He is described as a white male, 45-50 years old, 5-feet-6-inches tall, short, dark hair, medium build wearing glasses. They will review camera footage and see if they can find the vehicle’s license plate.

Monday, Dec. 15

Tuesday, Dec. 16

2:14 p.m.: The First Armenian Church on Concord Avenue reported vandalism to the chain link fence located at 380 Concord Avenue. Someone may have cut the fence with a fence cutter.

4:09 p.m.: Hit and run reported on Vincent Avenue. His wife parked her vehicle in front of 46 Vincent Avenue while she was at an appointment at Elements Massage on Belmont Street. When she returned there was minor damage to the rear driver’s side door consistent with a side swipe.

6:44 p.m.: A man reported his clothes were stolen from a dryer at Belmont Laundromat. The total value is approximately $150. He believes they were taken some time between 5:45 and 6:45 p.m. There is no evidence of anyone taking the clothes on the surveillance video.

7:26 p.m.: An unknown person was reported on an enclosed porch of a home on Walnut Street. The resident who reported the incident was highly emotional. She described the person as white, wearing a coat. The resident said the person was inside a Home Depot cardboard box she kept on her porch, which is now gone.  She noticed the box wasn’t in the position that she left it in. It was in an upright position, and multiple cardboard boxes were on top of it as well as a blanket. When she looked at the box closer, she saw a hand and immediately ran back into her apartment and called the police. The officer observed an individual walking on Walnut Street into a backyard. A white female wearing a brown coat was seen carrying a cardboard Home Depot box. The officer asked her to stop and she refused stating, I’m not doing anything. Leave me alone,” and started walking around the corner onto Maple Street. She said she had to go to the bathroom (using a profanity). “There’s razor blades coming out of me.” The officer yelled for her to stop and grabbed one of her arms to handcuff her. Another officer came to the scene to assist with the arrest. When she was being placed into the back of the cruiser, she was shouting obscenities stating, “Look at these officers assaulting me.” Officers returned to the home that reported the woman on their porch with the Home Depot box and asked her if it was the same box she was missing. She said it was. She said she was afraid the woman would retaliate against her for calling the police. The woman was charged with breaking and entering into a building at nighttime for felony, one count and trespassing, one count.

An unknown female was seen on his doorbell camera at around 11:46 a.m. She walked up the front steps, looked around for a moment, then proceeded into the enclosed porch area. At the end of the video clip, it sounds like a vacuum that was on the porch was turned on. Then the video clip ends. The female in the video appeared to be in her 30s or 40s, white with brown or black hair, wearing a brown sweatshirt, brown sweatpants, black jacket and white sneakers. Nothing was missing or out of place.
