Julie has been overseeing the programming on BMC’s channels since 2007. On a weekly basis, she creates program schedules, adds programs into timeslots, and schedules livestreams for government meetings and other live programming.
Julie juggles programming with other taskings including, covering municipal meetings, overseeing the production schedule, sending out weekly newsletters, organizing volunteer crews, and editing programs. She uses her graphic design skills to create show opens, logos, and flyers promoting BMC events. She oversees and designs slides for the community bulletin board.
Julie has also done some independent filmmaking on the side. She wrote, produced and directed two short films, and served as a crew member on other filmmakers’ productions.
