Mark currently serves as a Town Meeting member from Precinct 8.
He and is a board member on the Council on Aging and the Friends of the Council on Aging. Previously, he served on the Belmont Select Board for 12 years and the Warrant Committee for 6 years. He was also a member of Financial Task Force I and II, Capital Budget Committee, Comprehensive Capital Budget Committee, Structural Change Impact Group, Permanent Audit Committee, and many other committees in Belmont. Mark also serves on the board of the Belmont Woman’s Club.
Mark is a longtime Belmont resident and a graduate of Belmont High School. He and his wife, Christine, live in the Winn Brook neighborhood where they raised their two children, Stephen, and Sarah, also graduates of Belmont High School.
Professionally, he is a Principal at the National Tax Firm, Ryan LLC. Previously, he was a Director in Tax at Deloitte & Touché. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Northeastern University, a Master in Business Administration Degree from Boston College and a Master in Taxation Degree from Bentley University.
